The CMBAA Board of Directors has made it a goal of 2017 to update this website, and continue to find ways to use it strategically to reach out to you all and stay connected.
To that end, we are adding meeting minutes from recent years (yes…years…whoops), starting with the 2015 “State of the Association”!
Thank you for your continued support as we undergo some virtual construction. Wahoowa!
Welcome to college football season! That means Fall is just around the corner, and so is Homecomings!
As we get closer to our Annual Meeting, you might find yourself asking, “What on earth has the CMBAA been up to in 2014?” If that’s the case, then do we have a treat for you! Please find attached a copy of this year’s State of the CMBAA newsletter. In this publication, you’ll find updates on the directors and work over the past year, important Association news, and upcoming events. Be sure to check out our Treasurer’s message to get a better idea of what it costs the CMBAA to operate on an annual basis and learn more about how the Board is positioning the Association to address long-term fiscal solvency.
As always, if you have questions or would like to get involved with the CMBAA, please email Josh Richards (firstname.lastname@example.org).

My favorite Cavalier Marching Band memory: High-stepping for the first time out onto a college football field, September 11th, 2004, to a perform for a crowd of 65000 fans, who hadn’t seen a true marching band at UVA in over forty years.
To the organization that has given us so much, now it’s our turn to give back.
Join the Cavalier Marching Band Alumni Association Board and celebrate the 1st Annual Give Back Thursday by making a gift to the CMB. Your support will help ensure future generations of marchers get just as much out of their experiences as we did.
Make a gift to the Cavalier Marching Band. I did.
Several CMB alumni accompanied the Basketball Band to the ACC Men’s Basketball games in Greensboro, North Carolina, where our Cavaliers won the championship! Here’s a quick pic of the group:
It’s time for the our second social event of the year! After a successful happy hour watch party in DC, the CMBAA will be hosting a Happy Hour Watch Party for the UVa vs. Georgia Tech basketball game on Saturday, February 8th. We will be gathering at the Boylan Heights (102 14th Street; on the corner) at 11:30am. All CMB Alumni are invited as well as all current CMB members (21 and up).
Please consider making a donation to the CMBAA of $5 – all profits from this event will go directly to supporting the CMB’s Capital Campaign, and donations of $5+ include a drink ticket good for one draft beer. Please RSVP via the link by February 7th (9am).

As always, please feel free to send any questions to Rodney Jones (email@example.com).
Come thirsty and mingle with fellow alums as we cheer our team to victory. We hope to see many of you there!
